My Dear Susan,
I am thinking of you and your daughter EVERY day praying for the best and least invasive treatment as possible!!! I hope your trip to New York's Chiari Institute is very encouraging as well as helpful. You have so much on your plate; I know God only "gives us only as much as we can handle" but, CRAP! The Good Lord REALLY, REALLY believes in YOU!!!:)
It will get better sheerly because it HAS too. When you hit rock bottom it's only blue skies and upward from there!! I hope you're able to take pleasure in the small things in life like; the flowers in your yard, the sun on a warm day, or the a fore mentioned spoon you carry in your pocket!!!! That's the way I get through it; one minute, one hour, one day at a time.
Someone once told me that WE are "long distance runners so, sometimes we have to cheat and "ride the bus" for a few miles!!!! Then "get off the bus" and keep on going.
Miss you lots and lots,
Cristina
(Michigander with dark hair and a husband named Pete)
Please take really good care of your daughter but DON'T leave youself out!!!
